Do I already own this card?
BinderIQ checks whether you already own a card from a photo. It matches the photo against the cards in your binders, so it works even for cards you never typed details for.
How the check works
Take a photo of the card, or import one from your library. BinderIQ builds a visual fingerprint of the image and compares it against every card in your collection. A match comes back in seconds with the card it found, a match percentage, and where that card lives: which binder, which page, which pocket.
If the photo matches but a detail does not, such as the parallel or serial number, BinderIQ flags the conflict instead of guessing. You see both cards side by side and decide.
Does it work at a card show without signal?
Yes. Duplicate detection runs entirely on your device, so it works in a convention hall with no reception. Only AI identification, price checks, and grade lookups need a connection.
Does it work on graded cards?
Yes. Slabs from PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC are recognized, and the check compares the card inside the holder. A raw copy and a graded copy of the same card are treated as different items.
What if I never entered the card's details?
It still works. The match is visual, not text based, so a card you scanned into a binder months ago with no name, set, or year is found the same way as one with every field filled in.
How big a collection can it search?
The whole collection, every time. The free plan holds 100 cards; Premium and above remove that cap. The check reads the total it searched so you know it covered everything.
